 Sudhir Singh, Rita Rehan and Vaishali Bagal from Jammu and Kashmir have qualified the referee examination conducted by Roll ball Federation of India recently at Pune in Maharashtra.
Sudhir Singh, who is also qualified umpire of the BCCI, topped the examination with 37 marks. Other two qualifiers form the state, Rita secured 32 marks while Vaishali obtained 27 out of a total of 40, a handout issued by the J&K Roll Ball Association here today informed.
Important to mention here that, Sudhir, who services with Public Health Engineering Department of the State Government as AEE, topped the umpires examination conducted by the BCCI at Srinagar in 2009 and was only candidate from J&K to earn above 80 per cent marks.
Meanwhile, chairman of the Association, Anil Sharma and general secretary, Madhu Sharma congratulated Sudhir and other two referee from the state for their success.
